Yes You Can!
You can read music.Just the fact that you can follow along during rehearsal - even if you're only looking at the lyrics - means that you can read music.
There may be singers in your choir that know a lot about music theory and are able to read music with more accuracy than you can (for now), but that doesn't change the fact that you can read music.
