Draw, Point, Sing
Using line space line space line space, on the staff below, build a scale using the mark/note on the bottom line as 1.When you're done, point and sing up the scale and back down. You are reading music! Yes indeed.
People can make it be a whole lot harder than that but it doesn't always need to be.
