Bigger Intervals

The farther apart two notes are on the staff, the farther apart they are within the scale. You can see that a scale that starts on the bottom line ends on the top space.

In the same way that you already know what it sounds like when you see a note go from a line to the nearest space or a space to the nearest line, you already know what it sounds like to go from the bottom line to the top space, or from the bottom space to the top line! In both cases it sounds like an octave, which you can sing!

You are getting better at reading music.
