Help Yourself- See if you can get music prior to rehearsal so you can familiarize yourself with it ahead of time.
- Figure out which note is 1 and circle it when your part sings it. Often the note that is 1 will change one or more times within a song, so:
- Ask your Director - or maybe a fellow choir member - when you have questions.
- If you are at all inclined to dip a tiny bit of toe into the Everlasting Pool of Theory, Name That Chord starts with sound as it is in nature and moves step by step through the all the theory you'll ever need as a choir singer. There is even a fun two-player Jeopardy-like game.
